Head Coach Josh Burt

Josh Burt begins his first season with the Hornets as the Director of Golf at Kalamazoo College. He will serve as head coach for both the men's and women's teams. Burt came to Kalamazoo College from Gull Lake Country Club, where he was the first assistant golf professional for five years. Prior to working at Gull Lake, Burt was an assistant pro at Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath, Mich., and was an assistant instructor with the Greg Webber Golf Academy at Hawk Hollow. Burt graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2012 with a degree in sports management and played NCAA Division II golf while attending.

Quoting Coach Burt

"We have been preparing for this season since the day we got back on campus. We spent countless hours in the golf lab each day until the weather has allowed us to get on the course. The preparation I have seen has been impressive and I look forward to seeing what this team can do this spring."

"This team has a combination of veteran leadership in junior Darby Scott to go along with a strong freshmen class. I expect to see a massive improvement from before the shutdown. Look for freshmen Sydney Pickell and Ella Szczublewski to make a big impact on this program."
