LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team lost 3-0 at the University of Lynchburg on Sunday. Lynchburg was ranked No. 11 in the preseason United Soccer Coaches Association poll.
Lynchburg scored its first goal in the 19th minute of the contest and carried the 1-0 lead into halftime.
Lynchburg scored again in the 59th and 73rd minutes.
Lynchburg outshot Kalamazoo 22-3, including 14-3 on goal.
Hannah Wolfe made 11 saves in goal for Kalamazoo.
Kalamazoo returns to action next Saturday, Sept. 14 at Hiram.
