ORLANDO, Fla. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Marywood University 9-0 on Friday.

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Sophie Zhuang/Renee Torres won 8-2 at one doubles. Rebecca Elias/Ivy Walker won 8-0 at two. Soussana Kimbouris/Lauren Marshall won 8-1 at three.

Winning 6-0, 6-0 for the Hornets were Zhuang (2), Maddie Hurley (3) and Anna Buck (6).

Torres (1) and Walker (5) each lost just one game. Eleni Bougioukou (4) won 6-1, 6-1.

The Hornets are back in action Sunday when they face Salisbury University at 2:30 p.m. in Orlando.
