Men's Lacrosse Defeats Dubuque

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team improved its record to 4-0 with a 10-6 win over Dubuque on Friday evening.

The teams played to a 4-4 draw in the first half after both scored two goals a piece in each of the first two quarters. 

Following an early Dubuque goal in the second half, the Hornets took control and outscored Dubuque 6-1 to end the game. 

Kalamazoo outshot Dubuque 47-30 in the game. The Hornets also had a 44-40 edge in ground balls. 

Freshman Dylan McGorisk led Kalamazoo with four goals and three assists on the evening. McGorisk also picked up three ground balls.

Jack Loveland also connected on four goals for Kalamazoo. Loveland added four ground balls and one assist. 

Zach Norgrove and Harrison Ramsey had one goal each. 

The Hornets return to play on Wednesday, March 27 against Washington & Jefferson at 5 p.m.
