The 2022-23 Kalamazoo College volleyball team earned the Team Academic Award, presented by the United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale or a 4.10 cumulative team GPA on a 5.0 scale.
This is the 23rd time Kalamazoo has received the AVCA Team Academic Award and the 10th consecutive year.
The 2023 season is scheduled to begin Friday, Sept. 1, against Midway at the Saint Mary of the Woods Invite.
