Samantha (Maze) Woods joined Kalamazoo College as an assistant athletic trainer in August 2021.
Sam came to Kalamazoo from the University of Akron where she was an assistant athletic trainer. Prior to Akron, Sam worked as a certified athletic training intern at Michigan State University.
Sam earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Eastern Michigan University in 2018 while also working as an athletic training student. She earned her master’s degree at Youngstown State University in 2020 while working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.
A licensed and certified athletic trainer, Sam is also certified in dry needling.
An Ohio native, Sam and her husband, Justin, currently reside in Kalamazoo and enjoy golfing and traveling together.
